I’m Shirley Frazier, your host and author of How to Start a Home-Based Gift Basket Business and The Gift Basket Design Book.
My creativity started in 1990 when my husband, John, made a small gift for a friend. It wasn’t contained in a basket, but the idea was so thoughtful that I dropped plans to open an intimate apparel company and began planning to start a gift basket business.
My gift baskets have been ordered by and delivered to individuals, corporations, politicians, entertainers, and non-profit organizations. Some designs were featured on The Food Network, The Discovery Channel, and other networks, and I share my ideas for creating a hobby or business at GiftBasketBusiness.com, blog, and twice-weekly newsletter.
